Book a Private Travel Consultation with a France Expert

What is Included in My Consultation?
Your consultation will include:
- Uninterrupted time with Stephanie, the author of France Adventurer – an experienced traveler and travel writer. This session will be private for you/your travel group. You’ll be provided with a link that will allow others in your party to join, even if they’re based in a different location. We’ll use this time to plan a personalized itinerary, share expert knowledge, and answer your questions. I do not book on your behalf, but I can help get you ready to book independently.
- A Google Sheet or follow-up e-mail with your personalized itinerary/notes
- Recommendations on applicable activities & hotels
What Do I Need to Do to Prepare?
To make the most of your consultation, I suggest you come prepared with a few questions… chances are you’ll have no shortage of those.
If you have a rough itinerary, you’re welcome to email it through. Though I don’t expect you to come prepared with a detailed itinerary, the more organized you are, the more you’re likely to get out of our session.

What Can I Ask?
Nothing is off limits — I’m here to help!
You might want to know about:
- Unmissable attractions and activities
- Best cities and villages to visit
- Hidden gems
- France must-dos — are they really ‘must do’ for me?
- How long you should spend in each area
- Food & restaurant recommendations
- Accommodation recommendations
- The best form of transportation, both within cities and between cities
- The best time to travel in France
- Budgeting advice
Though I can’t guarantee I’ll know all of the answers, I am an expert in France travel and have broad general travel knowledge.
If there’s anything I’m unsure of, I’ll be honest and will do my best to help point you in the right direction.

Cost
Private consultations are charged at a rate of USD 130/hour.
Payment is required in advance of your meeting and is charged by credit card.
My local knowledge ensures that your route makes logistical sense, avoiding any doubling back or wasted time. I also suggest amazing free sightseeing and can direct you to paid activities that offer the best value for money.
How Long Should I Book For?
Your booking length will depend on a number of factors including:
- How long you plan to be in France
- How prepared your itinerary already is
- The level of detail you’d like to discuss
- The number of questions you have
You might choose to book one appointment initially before going away to do some more research and reflection, and then book a follow-up call.
Alternatively, you might prefer to walk away with a finalized itinerary so you can begin finalizing accommodation and transport.
If starting from scratch:
- 1 hour for an itinerary that is up to 7 days long
- 1.5 hours for an itinerary that is between 8 days and 12 days
- 2 hours + for an itinerary over 13 days.
Mini consultations
I also offer an introductory consultation for up to 30 minutes.
This time can be used to answer your questions or to create a draft route based on your interests and timeframe.
Choose a Time
Once I’ve confirmed that time is suitable, I will send you a Zoom link ready to use during your call.
Please ensure you have a stable internet connection and that you have granted Zoom access to your microphone before our session.
This calendar shows my general availability (in your timezone) but it can differ from week to week. Additionally, I do have some weeks completely blocked off, as I travel frequently to continue doing research for my blog on new cities and areas.
Please be aware that last-minute requests might not be filled due to timezone differences and other commitments.
Book with Stephanie
If these times do not suit you, please email me requesting an alternative time.
I look forward to discussing your France travel plans shortly!
As a travel consultant, I will help organize a personalized itinerary for you. I do not, however, book on your behalf. You’ll be free to finalize your itinerary and make your own reservations.
After the call, I may provide my affiliate links to any hotels or activities discussed. There’s no pressure and you can book wherever you like, but if you choose to use my links, I do receive a small commission that helps offset the cost of running this site.
Please double check the dates and information provided before booking your itinerary.
Though I’ll do my very best, I am not liable for any part of your vacation. All activities, hotels, restaurants, flights, transportation, or anything else booked or planned are 100% your responsibility.
By booking a consult time slot, you agree to these conditions.
